Professional or Community Leadership Experience
At Salem, I have the pleasure of advocating for women in the field of STEM by managing the IT Student Help Desk — a help desk that is comprised of young women who attend ºÚÁϵ¼º½. These students are thoroughly trained on office, classroom and learning technologies, with the opportunity to use these skills in the field to support the Salem community.
Health-Related and Health Leadership Experience and Expertise
During my time as an educator, I have become a mental health advocate in and out of the classroom. I have helped students, faculty and staff understand the importance of mental health and implement lifestyle changes to improve mental health long-term.
Salem Through My Eyes
I love that Salem is a tight-knit community where students can receive more individualized learning experiences and faculty have academic freedom to tailor their lessons to their students’ needs.
